COVID-19 – SILK Community update

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Inline with the Federal Government announcement 24/3/2020, SILK Laser Clinics will temporarily close all clinics across Australia effective Midnight 25 March 2020.  This closure is to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and in the best interests of our community.

It is a difficult time for our clients and SILK staff as we navigate the impact this has on our day to day lives. Our priority is keeping our clients happy and most importantly safe, so we look forward to welcoming you back to our clinics as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

All treatments purchased are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. If you have treatments about to expire don’t worry will honour these treatments when we reopen.

In the meantime, as you can’t come to us, we will come to you with lots of great offers, competitions, skincare tips and tricks and interesting information about our favourite topic – How to love your skin!

Protect others and stop the spread

We can all help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Australia.

To protect others you must:

Practice Good Hygiene 
Everyone must practice good hygiene to protect against infection and prevent the virus spreading. Good hygiene includes:

  • covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue
  • disposing of tissues properly
  • washing your hands often with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet
  • using alcohol-based hand sanitisers
  • cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
  • if you are sick, avoiding contact with others and staying more than 1.5 metres away from people

If you have serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing, call 000 for urgent medical help.

Symptoms include:

  • fever
  • coughing
  • sore throat
  • fatigue
  • shortness of breath
