Skin Concerns
Ageing
Ageing is a natural occurring process that happens with our skin and generally starts during your mid-to-late 20s. This is due to the skin creating less collagen, elastin and hydration production after a certain age, so it’s never too early to get a leg-up on your skin’s ageing process.
Sometimes premature ageing can occur due to environmental factors like overexposure to the sun and free radical damage; using a combination of SILK’s specific treatment plan for health and ageing concerns and daily SPF use is optimal to achieve youthful skin tone for longer.
How to treat Ageing
Skin Programs
Explore our Skin Programs tailored to address your individual needs, providing personalised treatment plans and addressing ageing solutions. During the skin consultation, we’ll discuss your skin goals and help you choose tailored programs to achieve optimal results.
Lumixa
The Lumixa gel performs a photoconversion – a chemical change in the skin cells effected by light. This produces Fluorescent Light Energy (FLE). This non-invasive, no downtime treatment is the key to reducing the signs of inflammageing skin and correcting intrinsic signs of ageing.
MediPeels
MediPeels are made up of cosmeceutical strength ingredient blends designed to remove dead skin cells that sit on the outer layer of the skin. MediPeels are also tailored to treat pigmentation, acne, and ageing, as well as assisting in better product penetration and less congestion. The goal is skin rejuvenation with minimal side effects.
PicoSkin
PicoSkin and PicoWay treatments can address ageing by targeting age spots and sun damage, softening fine lines, improving skin texture and tone, and potentially minimising enlarged pores. Using ultra-short pulses, they stimulate collagen and elastin with minimal downtime and fewer side effects than traditional lasers.
Cosmetic Aesthetics
As we get older, our skin produces less collagen, causing it to lose volume and elasticity. Cosmetic Aesthetic treatments for facial volume, lines, and wrinkles are a non-surgical option to address ageing concerns. During a consultation with a SILK Aesthetic Nurse, they will discuss your goals, answer your questions about lines and wrinkles, and provide a comprehensive facial assessment.
