Why do we need to prep?
Using a Tyrosinase Inhibitor before a pigment peel is important because it helps prevent hyperpigmentation. Tyrosinase is an enzyme responsible for melanin production, which can lead to dark spots and uneven skin tone. By inhibiting this enzyme, the Tyrosinase Inhibitor reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) that can occur after the peel, ensuring a more even and brighter complexion.Â
